I wanted to apologize for my lack of correspondence with those who pledged during the December 4 - 10 week. The Tuesday and Wednesday emails would not successfully send out to all participants and, due to some personal issues, I have not had the time to figure out what was wrong with the problem until very recently.
Additionally, I would like to congratulate all those who attempted and completed the week! I am currently compiling general statistics on the potential emissions saved and everyone who pledged will receive a survey over their week completion so I can accurately compare their success with the pre-dietary information you provided at the start of the week.
Didn’t finish on the first week? Need a second try? No problem! There will be a second PledgeVeg week towards the end of February. And now that the email scenario is (roughly) worked out, daily emails and responses will be more organized, and won’t look like that mess you received the other weekend (Promise that is not what it looked like before it started…).
Already a devoted vegan? PledgeVeg could use your help! Send me a message here on Tumblr and I’ll let you know ways you can contribute.
It really didn’t look that funky in draft form. If anyone didn’t get the email or attachment let me know.
To everyone that is pledging: good luck tomorrow!
There’s still time to pledge!
Turkey Rice, Rice{cake} baby
from Forkandbeans
Almond butter is so good on rice cakes! This is cute and animal free.
See what I did there with that? Incorporating my clever nature…but in all actuality, this smoothie is very tart. I suggest throwing in a sweetener of your choice if your banana isn’t super ripe, you may find it too sour otherwise.
I made this smoothie along with grapefruit juice this morning…
